RETURNING OFFICER: The West Dorset District Council Returning Officer has issued a notice advising that a vacancy has arisen as a Stratton Parish Councillor. There are now two unfilled positions. Stratton is entitled to seven Parish Councillors.
 
 
 
 
ST MARY'S CHURCH CLOCK: Deane Parr writes, "Time in Stratton has ceased to stand still. The church clock is once again marking the passage of time in the village."
