ARCHAEOLOGICAL OPEN DAY AT THE OLD MANOR
Saturday 16th August 2014

A fantastic display of artefacts found during an archaelogical excavation that has taken place in the garden of The Old Manor, Stratton were on display at the house on Saturday 16th August 2014. Great credit for the way in which the dig has been conducted goes to the property owners, Rosemary and Anthony, and the small band of knowledgeable archaeologists who have helped with the project. Archaeological finds ranging in date from the 13th through to the 17th century have been painstakingly documented. All enquiries should be directed to Chris Boulton at boultonchris@icloud.com
