Strictly speaking the dogs in question do not belong to Stratton as a whole. They are owned by a couple who, for the enjoyment of everyone, set the dogs 'on guard' outside their home in the middle of the village. The stone pair have sat there for what must be years, always dressed appropriately for the weather or reflecting events in the village.

Then overnight Tuesday 28th / Wednesday 29th April 2015 someone stole both of them. They didn't just casually move them for a prank; each weighs over 70 kilos. Each dog is marked with the owners postcode - DT2 9RZ. Please help find them. The real owners must feel the loss most but an awful lot of people locally are very annoyed and upset. Let's get the 'Stratton Two' back.
